Roof Design & Specifications ( New Buildings & Re-Roofs)
RMG's Design and Specifications Service for re-roofing and new building projects begins with an analysis of the existing roof membrane and its substrate. We take into consideration the location of the building and the building’s primary use. This analysis is performed to determine which roof system is the most appropriate for the project.
Upon selection of the most appropriate system to be installed, RMG handles the Project Administration that includes:
- Pre-Bid meeting with qualified contractors
- Pre-job walk with chosen contractor
- On-site roof construction inspections
- Punch-list and Final Inspection
On-Site Roof Construction Inspections
Independent on-site roof inspections are recognized by the industry as an important and vital aspect of all roofing jobs.
RMG is on-site to begin its Quality Control Inspection process on the first day of the job. RMGs Quality Control Inspections assure that the owner of the building receives a professionally installed roof system. We verify that all specified materials are being used and installed and applied correctly. The goal of all on-site inspections throughout the roofing process is to assure the Owner that the workmanship is above par, the specified materials are being used and that the installed roof is a quality finished product. RMG's Roof inspection reports include daily rooftop activity, weather conditions, manpower and roof material application inspections. Any problems which arise during construction isdocumented within the report.
At the end of the project, RMG providesbound and digital final reports that includes all daily reports, material specifications, job photographs and necessary drawings.
